I recently reviewed my new iPhone 3g. One of the coolest things available to iPhone owners is the app store. I have been trying out many of the available applications and below are the ones I have tried so far (my rating on a scale of 1-10).
Light (free): makes the screen all white so you can see in the dark (3)
Currency (free): converts a currency into multiple currencies (6)
Check Please (free): helpful for splitting restaurant bills and calculating tips (6)
Pandora (free): Access Pandora and listen to music (7)
MotionX Poker ($4.99): My favorite app so far - great graphics - poker dice game - uses the accelerometer to roll the dice (9)
Labryinth (free): old school steel ball through wooden maze - uses the accelerometer to move to ball (7)
Tap Tap Revenge: similar to guitar hero (6)
Texas Hold’em ($4.99): great video style poker game (8)
Twittelator (free): twitter app (6)
Twitterific (free): twitter app (6)
Facebook (free): facebeeok app (6)
Palringo (free): IM client that can access AIM, Y!, Gtalk, etc. (6)
Here I Am (free): cool app that allows you to email people your exact location so they can find you using google maps and get directions (7)
Midomi (free): you can sing, hum or play music and the app will tell you who the artist and song are and link you to itunes so you can buy it (7)
Koi Pond ($0.99): soothing app of a pond filled with koi fish - you can splash the water with your finger and scare the fish (8)
More Cowbell! (free): “you gotta have more cowbell” (5)
iPint (free): turns your iphone into a frosty mug of chuggable beer (6)
Caissa Chess ($9.99): chess game (6)
Bubble Wrap (free): pop bubble wrap when you are bored (4)
Rotary Dialer ($0.99): let’s you dial your fancy iphone the old fashioned way (5)
PhoneSaber (free): for the star wars geek in you (3)
SpeedTest (free): test download and upload speeds (7)
Speed (free): uses GPS to show you your current speend in kph or mph (6)
CrazyLighter (free): butane lighter for concert goers (10)
